BARRY JAMESON

Barry has competed as a triathlete for 19 years.

This follows a successful running career racing against Olympic, European and Commonwealth Gold Medallists.  His achievements as a runner are P.B’s which include 10km - (30mins 17secs), 10 miles - (52 mins) half marathon - (1hr 07mins).  Barry realised triathlon could provide him with his next sporting challenge after finishing 1st in his first triathlon.  He continued to improve his swimming and biking, coaching himself and learning about the physical and psychological demands required as a triathlete.

 Since then he has represented Great Britain at World / European Triathlon and Duathlon Championships finishing consistently in the top 3 podium positions.

After achieving so much he wanted to give something back to the sport and started coaching in 2004.
